Imagine the first online RPG EVER.
It was so amazing back then. Every single non-FPS (and even some FPS: aka WoW[via ultima online]) has to attribute to the amazing partying/match making system ever.

@VergilSparda1994 the game was on ps1 so he could have the ps1 copy which would work on ps3.

The star on lvl 15 is gate to lvl 16. But you need to go through red portal, kick some asses and activate it before you can enter.

This is how I remember D1, like you had to lure enemies out, and it was challenging. In D2 all I did was run around super fast and murder hundreds of monsters without even coming close to dying until I got bored.
@TomteDJ That’s because hes not on the 15th floor. After you defeat Lazarus and return to town, talk to Cain, he will tell you about Diablo. Then return to the Lazarus’s lair and a red portal will be waiting to take you back to level 15 and the “star” (pentagram) will be glowing red once you get there. It will take you down to Diablo, down to level 16.
@thenore316 It says at the informations, The maximum floor you can reach is 15…. And at the 15th floor its an Star in the middle. but no diablo.

it can be played, but you need keyboard to enter the name of your hero first.
D1 is best! It has the best style, artwork and music of all. I wish D3 had more of D1!! D3 has way to many effects, fire arrows and lightning bursts everywhere!! I want to see metal hit metal not magic hit on magic. Also enemies blinking whenever they get hit is annoying and adds to the over-the-top visuels. All other gamechanges are fine with me (skilltrees, AH etc), just wished they sticked to the Diablo 1 artstyle and gore…
@theas88 it iis… one of the darkest games in history and it will alwayss be the new stuff doesnt even come close to this !!!
@Dethstalk9090 oh yeah, I used to be so bloody scared by the butcher…such a good ambiente, think the sounds made the game that great. tristram music, the screems in the catacombs…just brilliant!
Wolfenstein and this are my favorite old time games…
