The lack of an OFFLINE mode is EXTREMELY disappointing. Also, is there any way to turn down the “fog” and “smoke” effects? It gets to be a bit much in places.
Having been playing Diablo since D1 came out in the late 90′s, I’m surprised this video doesn’t mention that in town… which was a “sanctuary” in D1 & D2… monsters are now present that must be killed.

It amazes me how this game has such a big fan base because the players who play it are WoW players also. And this game isn’t even a mmo, and they are saying they want to quit WoW.

@dreamermark lol, yay for ignorant statements. Blizzard holds a standard to animations and having a certain “feel” to them. This is what’s helping make the so successful and is why their games are so much fun to play. Of course it’s going to have a similar feel to it b/c they put a lot of effort into making it “feel” smooth. It’s still nothing like wow though. I played wow for 5 years, fyi. I recently goofed off on a cracked version (yes they have working one) and it plays great! (not like wow)
is it just my PC or is the screen a little choppy when the character runs around? I have a 1 GB dedicated graphics card so maybe the laggyness is due to the youtube upload (or the recording itself)? hopefully it doesn’t lag like this when I get to play ^_^
I think Diablo 3 unnecessary because the story ended well in 2. But it’s good that there’ll be a 3. I just hope they don’t make it only online, because that’s what I hate about WOW, the fact we can ONLY play online… I always played Diablo by single-player, the multi-player I used only to learn english faster when I was a teenager. I don’t have a WOW account, but I play by my brother’s, sometimes. I hope Diablo 3 doesn’t have to be paid every month like WOW, because I pay for a game only once.

Stop deluding yourselves that this will be a continuation to the Diablo series. They should’ve made a new title instead of ruining this one.?
Why didn’t Blizzard just make a new title? The story doesn’t make any sense, and all but one of the classes suddenly dissapeared… When the fuck did you meet a monk in the Diablo universe? They’re changing all the rules of the game that? made it fun, and they are now introducing an auction house, and you can use real money to buy it! Time to use your mom and dads’ credit cards! WoW employees are working on this game, and the makers of Diablo left a long time ago and are making Torchlight 2.

@BrettThaBeast I can garuntee you a GTS 450 and a dual core computer at 2.5 GH and 2 gigs of ram will run this game with the way it looks now.. GTS 450 for the Physx engine becuase stuff is actually blowing up but yeh.. you get the point. not gonna be a heavy game for computers.
@chanpod the gameplay is exactly like wow, you’ve never played wow apparently. it looks like diablo3, but mechanics are same as wow. nuff said.
