For me it’s not a DRM thing or anything like that. I live at the edge of one town and across the street is another. All basic services are about 1/2 mile? away from me in either direction. So no gas, cable or DSL. Phone lines are 50+ years old. No city water or sewer. Originally I had dialup, best speed I ever got (once in 5 years) was 41k, mostly 24k-28k. I had to purchase wireless broadband, but have 5 people in house to share it with. I am not interested in auction houses or multiplayer.
if they create an offline mode, I’ll buy it. But the argument that “everyone else has always? on internet”, so the rest is an “acceptable loss”, is just like every other uncaring big business.

@altezzadrifter07 you sound like a kid if you seriously think you can make a living off of this. people play to lvl and get gear. gear they don’t need they? often give to friends. no one is going to buy crap gear. I played wow for 6 years. iv only gotten about 10 world drops that would be considered good enough to sell. friends or guild members need ill hook them up on a discount. if you could sell gold thats another story but you cant. your a noob because you think with ill logic.

I think, It’s easier for Blizzard to regulate? the game with online, and earn more profits so they can produce more games. Past Blizzard LAN product is a cash grabber for cd/dvd pirates. In my country, the sell of retail SC franchise is going up, since SC2 going online.
